Magnificent views
Oriented to face north, 1 Bligh enjoys magnificent views of Sydney Harbour and the city along Bligh, Bent and O'Connell Streets. Views are maximised by a façade of floor to ceiling glass with structural columns set well back from the perimeter.
1 Bligh is a striking new addition to the city skyline. When viewed from Sydney's North Shore, 1 Bligh sits in the centre of the city skyline, at the front of the valley created by the low rise heritage buildings around Macquarie Place. The building is highly visible when viewed from the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Harbour.
The public space beneath the tower is oriented to address Farrer Place. Curved steps define the north western edge of the building with a sweeping outlook over the heritage sandstone façades and the daily activity of Farrer Place.
